Yes, the core of Tariq stays available offline. Once the app is open and your preferences have loaded, you can read the Quran and use the Qibla compass without an internet connection.

Some features benefit from an occasional connection: accurately computing prayer times for your current location, or syncing your bookmarks and progress.

This is especially handy while travelling, on a plane or in low-signal areas — exactly when you want the Quran and the Qibla close at hand.
