Yanis B., software engineer turned founder
Trained through an industrial apprenticeship in France, then several years expat at a major rail group in Asia, I now design and publish mobile apps and build custom apps for ambitious businesses. The rigor of a large group, for a small team, without the price tag.
My journey
2017 – 2023 · France
Engineering studies & industrial apprenticeship
A degree in networks & telecoms (Franche-Comté), then a bachelor's and master's in complex systems engineering (Université de Lorraine, majoring in Industry 4.0, automation, continuous improvement). In parallel, a 4-year apprenticeship at Schneider Electric: R&D on three automated machine ranges, industrial robot programming (Omron, Fanuc, ABB), HMI design, Lean Six Sigma deployment (certified). That's where I learned what it means to ship a product that works — not a prototype, but something that runs for years in production without failing.
2023 – today · Philippines then Thailand
Expat at a major rail group in Asia
In 2023 I moved to Asia to join Alstom, a world leader in rail mobility. First in Manila as a Requirements Engineer on the NSCR project: 21,000+ system requirements managed, 10 subsystems orchestrated, 100% traceability. Then in Bangkok as a System Engineer on the MRT and BTS metros — designing, validating and commissioning systems that carry millions of passengers a day under strict safety and availability constraints. There I learned the demands of critical systems: what ships on a metro doesn't break. Not in the morning, not at night, never.
Today · Anzar Technologies
Building a mobile app studio
After years working on systems for tens of millions of users under strict contractual commitments, I wanted to put that discipline to work on something more tangible and human: designing and publishing mobile apps that people keep, and building custom apps for businesses that deserve a clean, reliable product they truly own. That's Anzar Technologies — a studio that ships apps with the rigor of critical systems.
What I commit to
Four non-negotiable principles behind every Anzar project.
Firm quote, no overruns
The quoted price is the final price. If I commit to a scope, I deliver it. End-of-project surprises are a no.
Deadlines kept
An Alstom habit: a metro line must open on the planned date, no excuses. I ship your apps with the same discipline.
You own the code
No locked SaaS, no lock-in. Your app's source code is yours. Evolve it wherever and whenever you want.
Real support & maintenance
An app that works on day 1 and crashes on day 60 is useless. I commit for the long run, not just delivery.
